Overnight Oats 2 Ways

Easy, Delicious & Make-Ahead Breakfasts

Basic Overnight Oats Recipe

Ingredients (1 serving):

  • ½ cup rolled oats

  • ½ cup milk (any kind)

  • ¼ cup yogurt (optional for creaminess)

  • 1 tsp chia seeds (optional)

  • 1–2 tsp honey or maple syrup

  • Pinch of salt

Instructions:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a mason jar or airtight container.

  2. Add your flavor combo (see below).

  3. Stir, cover, and refrigerate overnight (or at least 4 hours).

  4. In the morning, stir and enjoy cold—or heat if preferred.

Way 1: Berry Almond Bliss

Add to Base:

  • ¼ cup mixed berries (fresh or frozen)

  • 1 tbsp almond butter

  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

Toppings:

  • Extra berries

  • Sliced almonds

Tip: Frozen berries thaw overnight and infuse the oats with natural sweetness.

Way 2: Choco Banana Crunch

Add to Base:

  • ½ ripe banana, mashed

  • 1 tsp cocoa powder

  • 1 tbsp peanut butter

Toppings:

  • Granola or dark chocolate chips

Optional: Add a pinch of sea salt to enhance the chocolate flavor.
